Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

Decent restaurant for a variety of Chinese food. We got sliced braised beef as an appetizer which had a nice savory and sweet flavor. The three delight pork dumplings were not bad. Nice flavor but not super filled. We didnβt like the beef and dill dumplings as much. They were a little salty and had a strong dill flavor, but that was just our personal preference. Both of them had a thicker skin than we prefer. We also got the braised beef noodle soup which had a nice flavor and lots of noodles. It had a lot of meat, but much of it was inedible tendon. We also got the beef tripe that was also pretty tough. On the other hand, the service was amazing and very fast. Overall, it was slightly overpriced and a lot of dishes leaned towards the saltier side.

If you're a foodie like me, this place deserves a spot on your must-try list. Every visit has been consistently greatβthe food is always served hot, comforting, and packed with flavor. The dumplings are incredibly juicy, and you can tell they're made fresh by hand from both the taste and texture. The restaurant itself has a warm, inviting atmosphere. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by the delicious aroma of freshly cooked food. The marble tabletops with floral decorations, and mix of booth and table seating make it a cozy place to enjoy a meal. One thing I really appreciate is the value. The portions are generous, the quality is excellent, and the prices are more affordable than many other dumpling spots, especially considering how fresh everything tastes. The only downside is that they can get busy, so expect about a 10β15 minute wait during peak times. If you're short on time, I'd recommend ordering ahead. Overall, these are the best dumplings in Ypsilanti, and I highly recommend stopping by if you're craving authentic, flavorful comfort food.

Wow! This place was amazing. Itβs a small spot, just one lady taking orders and serving food in the front. Came here on the winter solstice for dumplings but all the food was so great. First, we ordered tea which warmed up real good. Then the dumplings came, one pork one beef. The beef dumplings had a tang and the filling came out after biting into it. The pork dumplings were super savory and the filling stayed inside. Next, a spicy noodle bowl with minced meat and peanuts. Pork belly over bokchoy and chives. Crispy fried chicken with spicy peppers. Everything was spectacular and served quickly. This spot is a gem, itβs right around a few other Chinese spots too. If you find yourself between Ypsi and Ann Arbor come check this place out.

I really enjoyed my visit here. The food was delicious, generously portioned and for a good price. The soups are one size and large sized. The combo entrees come with your choice of entree, egg roll and fried rice. I ended up taking half of everything home there was so much food! The chairs are comfortable, there is a nice high ceiling and it is well lit. I will definitely be coming back! Thank you for your service!

The food for the price was good. The dumplings are good but are best paired with chilly oil and soy sauce. The service was a bit slow but nothing to complain about. Itβs difficult to compete with other great restaurants in the area but the food wasnβt bad.
